After the summer break, a new Paloma club will start in Jyväskylä. Called Piipun Paloma, a multicultural encounter group for older people (+55) will meet from 10-12 at Piippuranta Klubi every second Tuesday, starting on 3 September. The club is located in the new residential area of Kangas at Paperitehtaankatu 1. Piipun Paloma is for everyone who is interested in multicultural issues and who wants to learn more Finnish. The group speaks in simple Finnish. The group is led by Sirpa Pekkarinen, Inclusion Coordinator at Monikko ry. The Paloma clubs are supported by STEA and run by Monikko ry.
