The call for applications for the multicultural theme days of the International Nature Camp is now open!
The theme days are on Tuesday 27.8.2024 and Thursday 29.8.2024, both from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Anyone aged 55+ who is interested in international interaction, nature and working together can register for the Äijälkä Nature Days led by Monikko. The venue is Äijäläntalo, Äijälänkuja 6, Jyväskylä.
You can participate on each day up to a maximum of 10 people, for a total of 20 people. During the nature days, both groups will learn about wild herbs, the harvest calendar, the Äijälä garden and the vegetable garden. We will learn about folklore, local food and nature-based well-being. During the day we will enjoy a lunch and afternoon coffee together. Depending on the weather, we will spend most of the time outdoors, including food preparation and meals.

The deadline for registration is 20.8.2024. When registering, please include your name, contact details and any special dietary requirements. Participation is free of charge, but a fee of EUR 10 will be charged for uncancelled registrations. The Nature Days are part of the Paloma activities of the Monikko Association supported by STEA.
