The Paloma club of Monikko ry is a place where people do everyday things together. The clubs take place in the participants' home neighbourhoods, in residential areas close to their homes, in familiar surroundings, where people go about their daily stuff. In the autumn, Paloma activities were also extended to Jyväskylä's Kangas district, where every second Monday the Piipun Paloma club discusses food culture, shares recipes with each other and makes a small pastry together. The meeting place is Piippurannan Klubi, one of the nearby houses in the city of Jyväskylä. So far this autumn we have made British scones and Turkish cookies. At the beginning of October we will have a börek. We will enjoy it with Turkish tea. We welcome you to learn new things, discuss kitchen issues, do some memory exercises and enjoy being together.
